Overview

You are on the project homepage of the ACL-Browser for Linux. A tool to get fast and comfortably an overview about the ACLs which are set. In addition you can be connected over a Webbrowser of your choice to any Linux server and navigated by their listings. Meanwhile the ACL browser offers the possibility to see and set ACLs. You find a full list of the functions in the section Feature of this side.

Why this application?

There is surely some programs able of ACLs of Linux servers to see (e.g. Nautilus and Konquerer) and finally can one likewise Shell use. That is completely correct, however there are some areas of application in those it is meaningful, ACLs by mouse click set to be able. Here are once a few advantages mentioned:

• ACL management via Webbrowser

• They do not have to be able to deal with Shell

• The ACL browser is co-ordinated explicit with handling ACLs under Linux and offers sophisticated function variety
